Ashleigh Maynard

Ashleigh has trained in a variety of different genres including Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, Contemporary and Musical Theatre starting from the age of 4 at Lisa Clark Dance Centre. She has completed exams from Pre-Primary-Grade 8 and Intermediate Foundation-Advanced 2 with the Royal Academy of Dance and Jazz exams from Grade 3-Grade 8 with the Commonwealth Society of Teachers of Dancing and has competed in eisteddfods in the ACT and NSW from 2013 to 2020.

At the age of 17, Ashleigh completed her first teaching qualification in Modern Jazz with the CSTD followed by her Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies with the RAD. Her other teaching qualifications include PBT with Marie Walton Mahon, Discovering Repertoire Level 3 with the RAD and Module 1 in Acro with Acrobatic Arts. 

Ashleigh also takes part in community theatre, being a part of previous productions with Canberra Philharmonic Society such as Grease, The 70th Anniversary Musical Extravaganza and Footloose with the Queanbeyan Players.
